Detailed Explanation

Interacting with an interactable (pots, chests, boss shrines, greed shrines, etc.) summons a swarm of ghosts.
 
- Every time you successfully use an interactable, it will spawn 6 homing ghost projectiles.
- Each ghost:
- Deals 200% of your base damage (base damage is caluclated as playerLevel +8). So the damage formula would look like

Ghosts can also deal crit damage.
- Lasts for a duration based on your stats (your duration multiplier × 30 seconds).
- The ghosts are spawned by the global effect system and behave like temporary damage projectiles that seek out enemies.

How it Stacks

Ghost scales only by increasing how many ghosts are spawned per interact. The damage of each ghost does not increase with more copies.
 
Every copy of the ghost spawns +6 ghosts. This stacks linearly with seemingly no cap.
